Our Impact in 2025
Growing Together in Job Satisfaction, Innovation, and Social Value
For the Driessen Groep, 2025 was all about Fighting Together: joining forces to make progress both financially and socially. Driven by our belief that workplace happiness, growth, and impact reinforce one another, we took significant steps forward. This commitment was recognized with the Wim van der Leegte Award and confirmed by strong B Corp results. At the same time, we continued to invest in people, sustainability, and social innovation. In this way, we continue to build sustainable job satisfaction with meaningful impact every day.
Highlights from 2025
Electric driving is the norm
Since January 1, 2025, electric driving has been the norm at Driessen Groep. This means that all new lease vehicles are fully electric. With this step, we are structurally reducing our CO₂ emissions and making sustainable mobility a natural part of our daily work. This decision aligns with our ambition to be CO₂-neutral for our own organization (Scope 1 and 2) by 2030.
Launch of the Language Buddy Project
We are launching the Language Buddy initiative in collaboration with Brainport Voor Elkaar. Colleagues who speak other languages are paired with Dutch-speaking colleagues to practice practical Dutch in the workplace. This boosts the participants’ self-confidence, language skills, and job satisfaction, as well as the job satisfaction of their mentors.

An energetic challenge with a clear social impact.

Partnership with Tilburg University
The Driessen Groep and Tilburg University are joining forces within two academic workshops: “Steering Toward Broad Prosperity” and “Inclusive Labor Market.” Together, we are bridging the gap between science and practice to work toward a sustainable, inclusive, and future-proof labor market. The launch of this partnership will be celebrated during the Academic Workshop partner meeting at the Brainport Human Campus, where knowledge sharing, collaboration, and social impact come together.
One year as a B Corp
We’re marking a special milestone: one year as a B Corp. We’re celebrating this moment together with our colleagues, in keeping with what B Corp stands for: conscious business, learning together, and making an impact together. Inspiring impact stories from other B Corps, such as Tony’s Chocolonely and Heroyam, show what meaningful entrepreneurship looks like in daily practice. In addition, colleagues will actively participate in the B Corp experience.
"I believe that real impact starts with inspiring people and organizations."
Koen de Rooij
Director of Sustainability
We offer inspirational sessions* on sustainable workplace happiness. During these sessions, Koen de Rooij, Director of Sustainability, engages organizations with energetic, engaging, and interactive stories, incorporating humor and reflection. The goal is to inspire people and help them experience how workplace happiness and sustainability can go hand in hand.
*Organizations can pay for these sessions with impact. Instead of a standard fee, it is possible to make a contribution to the Driessen Foundation and/or Learning Lab Foundation, our social initiatives in which we invest in development, knowledge sharing, and equal opportunities. This is how we link inspiration directly to social value.
