Driessen Groep and Tilburg University join forces for sustainable labor market

We are proud to share that we are entering into a new partnership with Tilburg University. We are joining two of their Academic Workplaces: '(Be)steering for Broad Prosperity' and 'Inclusive Labor Market'. Together we bring science and practice together with one common goal: working towards a sustainable, inclusive and future-proof labor market that contributes to broad prosperity for all.

Samenwerking Driessen Groep & Tilburg University

Collaboration for a future-proof labor market

Within the workshop (Be)steering on Broad Prosperity we focus on the theme of entrepreneurship. The transition to an inclusive and sustainable economy requires companies that not only create value, but also want to make social impact. Together with Tilburg University, we are investigating which forms of leadership, business management and collaboration fit this, and how organizations can steer sustainably without losing the balance between profit, welfare and prosperity.

"The future of work is about more than just economic growth," says Jeroen Driessen, CEO of Driessen Groep. "Work is the engine behind broad prosperity. This collaboration with Tilburg University provides an opportunity to explore how employers can contribute to a sustainable and inclusive labor market."

Working together for an inclusive labor market

Within the Inclusive Labor Market workshop, we are working with researchers at Tilburg University to promote a labor market that is accessible to all, regardless of background or circumstances. We strive for a work environment where inclusiveness and diversity are the norm and everyone gets a chance to contribute to society.

Kick-off of collaboration during partner meeting

The kick-off of the collaboration will take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at the Brainport Human Campus in Helmond. During this meeting, entrepreneurship and institutions will take center stage. Representatives of Driessen Groep, Tilburg University and other partners of the Academic Workshop (Be)steer op Brede Welvaart will discuss entrepreneurship and the role of institutions in achieving a good balance between economy, ecology and society.
