Moving together for what matters
Sometimes movement comes from more than sportsmanship alone. Sometimes a situation calls for moving together. For a colleague, for a family and for a greater cause. On Friday, March 13, 2026 Driessen Groep organized the first edition of the Campus Run at the Brainport Human Campus. A sporty and connecting afternoon, where we came together in action for the ALS Foundation Netherlands. Literally and figuratively.
More than 140 colleagues, campus residents and employees of the Automotive Campus walked along. Along the route were supporters who provided extra energy and connection. It was cold and wet, but the atmosphere was warmer than ever. Precisely because this run was about meaning, commitment and taking responsibility together.
Making an impact together
The Campus Run brought people together who wanted to mean something for others. This resulted in impressive proceeds of no less than €42,193 for the ALS Netherlands Foundation. An overwhelming result that exceeded all expectations and shows what is possible when a community works together for a cause that matters.
The ALS Foundation The Netherlands funds scientific research into the cause and treatment of ALS and related diseases. Recent technological developments mean that the chances of a breakthrough are greater than ever. What this requires is structural involvement and financial support. With this Campus Run we are making a concrete contribution to that.
An initiative by and for the community
What made this Campus Run special was the broad involvement. More than 140 participants had pre-registered and partners and campus residents also enthusiastically joined in. Thanks to their efforts, the initiative grew into much more than just a sports event.
The Campus Run is an initiative of Driessen Groep and was hosted by Brainport Human Campus. Thanks to all colleagues, volunteers and partners who helped, ran, donated or sponsored. In particular, we thank our sponsors, who helped make this event possible and thus showed their social commitment.
Together they show how powerful a community can be when people connect around a common goal.
Sustainable impact, today and tomorrow
At Driessen Groep we believe that sustainable impact starts with people. By supporting initiatives that contribute to health, research and future prospects, we look beyond today. That requires cooperation, innovation and the willingness to get moving for what really matters.
The aftermovie of the Campus Run aptly shows that feeling. Doing cool things together that matter. For each other and for the world around us.
